Blanket® Rose Star (PBLRS38-0) is an individually named selection in Green Fuse Botanicals’ Blanket® Petunia series. The breeder lists Blanket for summer color in beds and containers and gives a general series size of 6–8 inches tall by 36 inches wide; that guidance is for the series, not a measurement published separately for this selection.
## Seasonal Interest
Use this low, spreading petunia for seasonal color in a landscape bed or in a large container where its mature spread can develop. Green Fuse lists Rose Star among the Blanket® colors and describes the series as covering beds with color through hot summer conditions. ## Growing Conditions
For containers, use a well-drained potting mix. Water thoroughly, then allow the mix to dry between irrigations. Green Fuse’s crop report specifies a media pH of 5.5–6.2 and warns that prolonged excess moisture can damage roots; this is production guidance, so maintain good drainage in garden beds as well. ## Maintenance
Pinch the plant after it is established. If stems extend beyond the desired display, pinch or trim dominant stems about two weeks after transplanting. The breeder describes Blanket flowers as requiring little consumer deadheading, including the double-flowered selections.
