Easy Wave® Rose - Spreading Petunia

Easy Wave® Rose is a spreading annual petunia with rose-pink flowers and a mounded, trailing outline. PanAmerican Seed describes the color as between Pink Passion and Neon Rose and gives a mature size of 6–12 inches tall by 30–39 inches wide. [Its exact plant page](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/048602869004669/spreading-petunia-easy-wave-rose/) lists spring through late-summer flowering and use in gardens, landscapes, planters, and baskets. ## Flowers and form The plant combines a moderate mound with broad lateral growth, making it useful for filling the edge of a sunny bed or spilling from a wide container. Keep it identified as Easy Wave Rose; the breeder notes its color and vigor in comparison with neighboring colors in the series, but that does not make it the same selection. ## Placement Give it full sun and enough room for the stated spread. Petunias generally perform best in moist, well-drained soil, as described by [Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia). Pair the rose blooms with white, blue, or purple flowers for a clear color contrast. ## Maintenance Check pots and baskets frequently during warm weather and water before the root zone dries completely. Maintain good drainage and pinch late-season growth if a more compact outline is desired.
