About Good and Plenty® Strawberry Flash - Petunia

Good and Plenty® Strawberry Flash is an early-flowering petunia with pink with darker rose-purple veins blooms. Green Fuse lists this selection in its Good and Plenty series, whose plants flower early and form a mounding, spreading display in containers. ## Garden Use The current Green Fuse catalog gives the series a garden height of 8–10 inches and describes plants that fill containers with flowers. The culture sheet lists flowering pots and baskets, mixed containers, window boxes, and landscape planting. Its [Good and Plenty product page](https://green-fuse.com/new/petunia-hybrida-petunia-good-and-plenty/) lists Strawberry Flash among the series selections. ## Site and Water Grow in full sun and well-drained soil. Green Fuse recommends watering thoroughly, then allowing the soil to dry between irrigations; its production guidance specifies a soil pH of 5.5–6.0. Container mixes and sunny sites may dry quickly, so check moisture rather than following a fixed schedule. See the [series culture sheet](https://green-fuse.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Petunia-Good-and-Plenty%C2%AE.pdf) and [2025–26 catalog](https://green-fuse.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/GreenFuse-Catalog-2025-26-singles.pdf). ## Maintenance After transplanting, pinch dominant shoots once plants are established, about 10–14 days later under the culture sheet’s production guidance. Inspect foliage for aphids, thrips, and whiteflies. Avoid prolonged saturation: the grower guidance associates excess moisture with root damage and disease pressure. Trim uneven shoots when needed to keep baskets and mixed planters balanced.
