About TriTunia™ Plum - Petunia

TriTunia™ Plum is a large-flowered grandiflora petunia with a mounding habit and plum-toned flowers. The TriTunia series is selected for early flowering and coordinated spring bedding displays. ## Garden Use Syngenta lists plants at 10–12 inches tall by 12–14 inches wide, flowering from mid-spring through summer. The large flowers and mounding growth suit packs, pots, and garden beds; the series includes solid, bicolor, veined, and novelty forms. See [Syngenta's Plum product page](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70065678) for product and series details. ## Growing Conditions Choose part shade, part sun, or full sun. Harden greenhouse-grown bedding plants outdoors for 7–10 days, starting in a protected shady place and gradually increasing direct sun. Thoroughly water when the soil surface dries, and plant annuals after local frost danger passes. [Iowa State Extension's bedding-plant guide](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/how-to/selecting-hardening-and-planting-bedding-plants) covers this process. ## Maintenance Pinch petunias at planting to encourage branching; removing early flowers also helps plants establish. Check pots regularly and water when the soil surface becomes dry.
