TriTunia™ Star Mix is a mounding grandiflora petunia sold by Syngenta under product number 70065672. The [breeder lists this selection for containers and bedding displays](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70065672), with flowering from mid-spring into summer. Syngenta also marks it as pollinator friendly. ## Light, Soil, and Water Plant in full sun or light shade; the [University of Minnesota Extension notes](https://es.extension.umn.edu/garden-and-home/yard-and-garden/gardening-in-minnesota/growing-petunias) that petunias flower best with several hours of direct light. Use soil that drains freely, and water containers when their limited soil volume begins to dry. In hot weather, pots and hanging baskets may need more frequent watering than garden beds. ## Seasonal Interest TriTunia is an annual bedding series with an early, concentrated flowering window. The Star Mix can add patterned color to mixed containers or repeated groups along a sunny edge. ## Maintenance Remove spent flowers when practical to keep plants tidy and encourage continued bloom. Check containers regularly for dry soil and replenish nutrients according to the potting mix or fertilizer label.
