Create design onlineAbout TriTunia™ Veined Mix Petunia
TriTunia™ Veined Mix is an annual, large-flowered petunia blend selected for spring bedding, containers and garden plantings. Syngenta lists this exact mix as mounding, pollinator friendly, and 10–12 inches tall by 12–14 inches wide; flowering is listed from mid-spring through summer.
## Appearance and placement
The mix combines veined and other novelty patterns in large flowers. Its rounded mound suits packs, pots and front-to-middle planting areas; allow room for the listed spread and avoid crowding neighboring plants.
## Growing conditions
The breeder lists full sun, part sun and part shade. Illinois Extension recommends full sun and moist, well-drained soil for petunias generally. Water container plants as the mix dries, and keep beds evenly moist without leaving roots in saturated soil. Site-specific growth and flowering can vary with temperature and culture.
## Maintenance
Pinch lightly late in the season if stems become leggy; Illinois Extension notes that occasional pinching can keep petunias compact and blooming well. Check containers regularly during warm, dry weather.
