Create design onlineAbout Amore® Fiesta Petunia hybrida
Amore® Fiesta is a Danziger AMORE® petunia with large, single flowers and the series’ distinctive heart-shaped pattern. Danziger describes the plant as mounded and medium in growth intensity, flowering early, with a mature height of 10–12 inches and a width of 14–18 inches.
### Placement and Growing Conditions
Use Fiesta in a hanging basket, container, or landscape planting where the patterned blooms can be enjoyed at close range. Petunias grow best in full sun and porous, well-drained soil. The listed mature size leaves room for companion plants in a mixed display while giving the petunia enough space to form its mounded outline.
### Seasonal Interest
Danziger identifies Fiesta as an early-flowering selection and describes the AMORE® pattern as stable across its large blooms. Its compact proportions suit patios, balconies, and the front of a sunny border. The species-level heading on the grower page is Petunia hybrida; the selection name remains Amore® Fiesta.
## Maintenance
Keep the root zone from becoming waterlogged, especially in containers. Missouri Extension notes that petunias prefer full sun and well-drained, porous soil; it also advises that overwatering can contribute to root rot. Check pots regularly during hot weather, and feed according to plant vigor because vegetatively propagated petunias may be heavier feeders. Deadheading is optional but can increase flower production.
