About Amore® Princess Pink

Amore® Princess Pink is a mounded, medium-vigor Petunia hybrida in Danziger’s Amore series. Its large single flowers carry the series’ stable heart-shaped pattern, and the breeder lists the selection as an early-flowering option for landscapes and hanging baskets, reaching 10–12 inches tall and 14–18 inches wide. ## Garden Use Use the compact mound in a seasonal container or hanging basket, or as a flowering accent in the landscape. Its large, single flowers and repeated pattern make it useful in mixed plantings. The named selection is pink; the breeder describes the heart pattern as stable through bloom. Danziger identifies the selection as early flowering. See the [Danziger plant detail page](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/amore-princess-pink/) for selection-specific form, uses and dimensions. ## Growing Conditions Illinois Extension describes garden petunias as annuals for full sun and moist, well-drained soil; it notes that very heavy soil can reduce flowering. Keep the root zone from drying completely while avoiding persistently saturated growing media. For general petunia care, consult [Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia) and [Danziger’s Amore growing tips](https://www.danzigeronline.com/blog/petunia-growing-tips/), which recommend avoiding oversaturated media and low light in production. ## Maintenance Illinois Extension recommends occasional late-season pinching to keep plants compact and flowering well. Apply only light trimming when stems become loose; the Amore selections have a naturally mounded form. The exact product page is linked above for cultivar-specific information.
