Capella™ Hello Yellow is a named Danziger selection of annual Petunia hybrida, selected for its vivid yellow flowers. Danziger's current Capella series material identifies Hello Yellow among the varieties, and its technical product information describes the series as early flowering, mounded and 8–10 inches high by 10–14 inches wide.
## Appearance and placement
Use Hello Yellow in pots, hanging baskets and garden beds; the Capella series is described for all three, as well as ground-cover use. The compact young plant continues to gain size in larger pots and garden beds, so leave enough room for its spread.
## Growing conditions
Illinois Extension recommends full sun and moist, well-drained soil for petunias generally. Choose a freely draining container mix or prepared bed, and water as the surface starts to dry; containers need more frequent checks in warm weather. Heavy soil can reduce flowering, and local conditions influence plant size and bloom.
## Maintenance
Pinch lightly late in the season if stems stretch; Illinois Extension notes that occasional pinching can keep petunias compact and blooming well. Check pots regularly during hot, dry periods.
