Capella™ Rose Petunia hybrida

Capella™ Rose is a named Danziger annual petunia selection in the CAPELLA™ series. Its exact product page lists an early flowering period, mounded habit, large single flowers and a garden size of 8–10 inches high by 10–14 inches wide. ## Appearance and placement The Rose selection is suited to pots, hanging baskets, ground-cover plantings and landscape beds. Danziger notes that the young plant's controlled habit continues to gain size in larger containers and the garden, so allow space for its listed spread when arranging seasonal combinations. ## Growing conditions Illinois Extension recommends full sun and moist, well-drained soil for petunias generally. Very heavy soil can reduce flowering. Use a freely draining container mix or prepared bed and water when the surface begins to dry; check pots more often in warm weather. Local light and temperature affect growth and flowering. ## Maintenance Occasional pinching late in the season helps keep petunias compact and blooming well. Monitor containers during hot, dry periods.
