Capella™ Salmon Improved Petunia hybrida

Capella™ Salmon Improved is an early-flowering, mounded hybrid petunia with large single blooms. Danziger describes a naturally controlled habit selected for quart production that continues growing to fill a larger pot or garden bed. The selection is also listed for hanging baskets and ground-cover use. ## Growing Notes Use a sunny site and fertile, well-drained soil, with regular water during active growth. Petunias flower best with ample light; avoid keeping the root medium saturated. Danziger lists this selection at about 8–10 inches tall and 10–14 inches wide, with early flowering and a large flower size. ## Maintenance Check container moisture frequently in warm weather and water before the root zone dries completely. Allow excess water to drain freely. Use the plant in containers, hanging baskets, or broader landscape plantings where its mounded growth can spread.
