About Cascadias™ Fantasy Hot Pink Improved Petunia hybrida

Cascadias Fantasy Hot Pink Improved is an early-flowering Petunia hybrida with large, single hot-pink flowers and semi-trailing growth. Danziger abbreviates the selection name as “Imp.” on its detail page and lists it for hanging baskets, ground cover, and landscape use. ## Growing conditions Plant in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Illinois Extension gives May through October as a general petunia bloom season and cautions that very heavy soils can reduce flowering. Danziger lists the Cascadias series at roughly 12–14 inches high and 14–18 inches wide; allow space for the stems to trail over a container or bed edge. ## Display Use the bright pink flowers in a basket, patio pot, or open landscape planting where the cascading form can be seen. The [Danziger Fantasy Hot Pink Imp. page](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/cascadias-fantasy-hot-pink-imp/) provides the selection’s flower type, habit, dimensions, and uses. For general planting advice, see [Illinois Extension’s petunia guide](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia). ## Maintenance Keep the soil evenly moist and let excess water drain. A light pinch late in the season can help maintain a compact outline and continued flowering.
