About Cascadias™ Indian Summer - Petunia

Cascadias™ Indian Summer is an early-flowering hybrid petunia with large single flowers and a semi-trailing habit. Danziger lists it for hanging baskets, ground-cover use, and landscapes, where its cascading growth can extend over the planting edge. ## Growing Notes Danziger gives a mature height of 12–14 inches and a spread of 14–18 inches. Grow petunias in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Provide room for the stems to trail and use a container with drainage. ## Maintenance Check container moisture regularly during warm weather and water before the root zone dries completely. Let excess water drain away rather than leaving the plant in saturated media. Illinois Extension’s guidance covers general petunia culture, while the exact size and habit above come from Danziger’s Indian Summer page.
