Cascadias™ Rim Magenta - Petunia

Cascadias™ Rim Magenta is a Petunia hybrida selection in Danziger’s Cascadias series. The exact product page describes a semi-trailing habit, large single flowers, and a typical size of 12–14 inches tall by 14–18 inches wide; it is listed for hanging baskets, ground cover, and landscape plantings ([Danziger](https://wpml.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/cascadias-rim-magenta/)). ## Form and season Its outward-growing stems can spill over a basket or soften a bed edge, while the magenta selection name gives a clear color cue for combinations. North Carolina Extension describes garden petunias as summer bloomers and notes that cascading hybrids are suited to baskets and ground cover ([North Carolina Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/petunia-x-hybrida/)). ## Siting Choose a bright site and well-drained soil or potting mix. Allow space for the spread, especially where neighboring plants could shade or crowd the trailing stems. ## Maintenance Water regularly during establishment and dry spells, while allowing excess water to drain. Pinch back overly long stems if a denser outline is wanted and remove faded flowers as needed. The dimensions and semi-trailing form cited here are specific to Rim Magenta; general care guidance applies to garden petunias.
