ColorBlitz™ Yellow is a named yellow-flowered petunia selection. It appears in a nursery's ColorBlitz assortment and as a distinct retail item, while the care guidance below describes petunias generally. ## Growing Conditions
Petunias grow best in full sun and well-drained soil kept evenly moist. Their flower forms, height, and spread vary by cultivar. Use them for seasonal color in beds, containers, hanging baskets, or as groundcover, allowing room for the selected plant to spread. [UF/IFAS petunia guide](https://gardeningsolutions.ifas.ufl.edu/plants/ornamentals/petunias/).
## Maintenance
Water deeply rather than with frequent light sprinkles. UF/IFAS suggests 1 to 2 inches every 7 to 10 days after establishment in Florida, adjusted for local weather and soil. Fertilize monthly with a balanced fertilizer. Pinching the growing tips can encourage branching. Avoid wetting flowers and foliage during watering, especially in rainy, humid weather.
