Crazytunia Twilight Blue is a named Petunia hybrida selection. Westhoff lists Twilight Blue as one of the selections in the Crazytunia® Twilight Mix, together with Twilight Lime and Twilight Red. The mix page identifies it as part of that named group; specific flower markings and standalone growing dimensions are not listed there. [Westhoff Twilight Mix listing](https://www.westflowers.de/variety/crazytunia-twilight-mix-twilight-blue-twilight-lime-twilight-red/).
## Growing conditions
As a petunia, grow it in a sunny location with moist, well-drained soil. Iowa State University Extension recommends at least six hours of direct sunlight and moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Avoid sites that remain waterlogged, since poor drainage can contribute to root and crown rot. [Iowa State Extension](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/faq/what-would-be-a-good-planting-site-for-petunias).
## Seasonal display
Petunias are grown as flowering annuals and offer a broad range of colors and forms. Match this selection with neighboring plants based on the individual color and growth shown by the grower’s label, while keeping the Crazytunia Twilight Blue name intact. ## Maintenance
Keep the root area moist and make sure excess water can drain away. Illinois Extension notes that petunias do not flower well in very heavy soil and that occasional pinching late in the season can help plants stay compact and continue blooming. Container plantings may need more frequent checks than garden beds. [Illinois Extension petunia care](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia).
