Create design onlineAbout Daddy® Mixture Petunia
Daddy® Mixture is a seed-grown grandiflora petunia mix with veined flowers in a range of colors. Its mounded, upright habit and spring-to-late-summer flowering make it useful for seasonal color in sunny beds and containers.
## Plant Details
PanAmerican Seed lists the mixture as a distinct Daddy® product and describes the series as veined grandifloras with large flowers and pack-ready growth. Published plant information gives a mature height of 10–15 inches, a width of 10–12 inches, and full sun exposure. Because this is a mixture, individual plants can differ in flower color and pattern; allow room for the full group rather than expecting every seedling to look identical.
## Garden Conditions
Use full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Illinois Extension advises that petunias tend not to bloom well in very heavy soils and recommends occasional late-season pinching to keep plants compact and blooming. Check container soil more often during warm, dry, or windy weather.
## Maintenance
Remove damaged stems as needed and water consistently without leaving roots in saturated soil. The [PanAmerican Seed Daddy Mixture detail](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/048600393003332/petunia-daddy-mixture/) documents the mixture’s habit, season, and mature size.
