Dekko™ White Imp. Petunia

The assigned selection Dekko™ White Imp. (code 70099029) matches Syngenta’s Dekko™ White product-page entry in its spreading petunia series. Its product page lists full sun, medium vigor, spring-to-summer flowering, and garden dimensions of 8–12 inches tall by 18–22 inches wide. [Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70099029) ## In the garden The clean white flowers brighten mixed containers, baskets, and sunny beds, where the spreading habit can soften planter edges or fill open spaces. Syngenta recommends the Dekko series for use in combinations and baskets and notes that its different habits suit small pots through landscape plantings. These uses suit a compact white annual as a linking color among stronger hues. ## Growing conditions Plant in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Petunias perform poorly in very heavy soils, so use a freely draining potting mix for containers and avoid leaving pots in standing water. [Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia) ## Maintenance Water container plants whenever the mix begins to dry, with more frequent checks in hot weather. Pinch back late-season growth if the plant becomes loose or leggy; occasional pinching can help petunias stay compact and continue flowering. The plant’s source-listed garden dimensions are a useful guide for spacing it among neighboring annuals.
