About Madness® Waterfall Mixture Petunia

Madness® Waterfall Mixture is a blue-toned floribunda petunia mix of lilac, magenta, midnight, and white flowers. Ball Seed lists a mounded, upright habit, 10–15 inches high by 10–12 inches wide, spring-through-late-summer bloom, and medium water for this exact mixture. ## Placement and bloom Plant in full sun in a pot, bed, or mass planting. The compact upright growth and mix of cool colors work well in mixed containers and repeated annual beds. Ball Seed describes the mixture as producing a seasonal display through frost; it also lists flowers that attract bees. See the [Ball Seed plant details](https://info.ballseed.com/PlantInfo/?phid=048600864007632). ## Growing notes Keep the root zone evenly moist and use a growing medium or bed soil that drains well. Illinois Extension notes that very heavy soil can reduce flowering in petunias, while full sun supports good bloom. Water containers when the mix begins to dry and avoid leaving pots in standing water. For general species guidance, see [Illinois Extension petunia care](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia). ## Maintenance Feed regularly according to the fertilizer label; Ball Seed lists weekly feeding for this selection. Remove faded flowers and damaged stems to keep the planting tidy. Check pots more often during hot weather, since small containers dry faster than open beds.
