Create design onlineAbout Madness® Orchid Petunia
Madness® Orchid is a floribunda petunia selection for a vivid Orchid-toned flower display in sunny containers and garden beds. Its upright, mounded plants reach about 10–15 inches tall and 10–12 inches wide, flowering from spring through late summer in sun.
## Design
Use the named color selection in patio pots, hanging baskets, or grouped beds as a focal seasonal accent. PanAmerican describes the Madness series as well branched and floriferous, with abundant 3-inch blooms. The exact page identifies Orchid as PAS3200 and lists the usual 8–10 inch spacing. See the [Madness Orchid page](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/048600864003839/petunia-madness-orchid/) for the exact selection profile.
## Growing Conditions
Provide full sun and well-drained soil that remains evenly moist. In its Florida guidance, [UF/IFAS recommends](https://gardeningsolutions.ifas.ufl.edu/plants/ornamentals/petunias/) watering established petunias deeply instead of giving frequent light sprinkles; the 1–2 inch every 7–10 day guideline should be adjusted for rainfall, heat, soil, and container drainage.
## Maintenance
Pinch young tips if you want a fuller shape, and remove spent flowers when they detract from the display. UF/IFAS suggests monthly balanced fertilizer or a controlled-release product at planting. Protect plants from frost in cold-prone locations.
