Panache Hell’s Bells is a named hybrid petunia with a distinctive orange-red flower and purple throat. A horticultural trade report identifies it as a variety in Hort Couture’s Panache group and names Westhoff as the series breeder.
## Garden Use
The high-contrast flower suits sunny annual borders and mixed plantings where the throat pattern can be seen at close range. Petunias are also used in container displays; choose a position with room for the plant’s eventual growth form.
## Growing Conditions
Petunias generally grow best in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Heavy soil can reduce flowering, so improve drainage or use a free-draining container mix where needed. The broad species includes a range of spreading, trailing and upright habits.
## Maintenance
Check container soil often during hot weather and water when the surface begins to dry, while allowing excess water to drain. Occasional pinching late in the season can help keep petunias compact and blooming.
