Sanguna® Mega Purple Petunia

Sanguna® Mega Purple is the purple color variety in Syngenta’s Sanguna Mega petunia series. Its extra-large flowers sit on a vigorous, trailing and mounded plant, suited to large hanging baskets and containers. Syngenta lists flowering from early spring through summer and a garden size of 10–14 inches tall by 20–24 inches wide. The series is listed as flowering from early spring through summer. Its 20–24-inch spread needs room to develop and show the flowers. ## Maintenance Plant petunias in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. They tend not to bloom well in very heavy soils; occasional pinching late in the season can help keep plants compact and flowering. Check baskets and pots regularly for moisture and allow excess water to drain. [University of Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia)
