Supertunia Mini Vista Sangria is an older named petunia selection, identified in a former Proven Winners variety list by code USTUN34803. That source distinguishes the original selection from the later Sweet Sangria replacement; this profile keeps the two identities separate. See the [Proven Winners variety list](https://www.provenwinners.com/sites/provenwinners.com/files/catalogs_pdfs/exhibit_a_-_variety_list_for_2022-23_-_final1_0.pdf).
## Growing conditions
Choose a sunny site and use moist, well-drained soil. Petunias tend not to flower well in very heavy soils. The cultivar belongs to the Mini Vista petunia line; use it where a flowering petunia is wanted in a garden bed or container, adjusting light and watering for local conditions. General petunia information is available in [Illinois Extension’s growing guide](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia).
## Maintenance
Keep the root zone moist while allowing excess water to drain freely. Occasional pinching late in the season can help petunias stay compact and continue blooming. Monitor containers during warm or windy weather, when their growing mix can dry sooner than garden soil.
