Sweetunia Orange Flash - Petunia

Sweetunia Orange Flash is a spreading petunia selected for nearly true-orange flowers. It grows about 12 inches tall and 24 inches wide, making it useful where a low plant can spill across a container edge or fill the front of a sunny bed. [Costa Farms](https://costafarms.com/blogs/plant-finder/petunia) lists those dimensions and the orange-flowered selection; a seasonal retail guide also describes Orange Flash as spreading and floriferous. ## Placement Give the plant room to spread and use it in containers, hanging baskets, window boxes, or the edge of a border. Petunias flower best with strong light and even moisture in a freely draining mix. Check containers often in hot weather because they dry more quickly than garden soil. ## Maintenance Pinch or trim long stems if the plant becomes sparse, and remove spent flowers when a tidy display is desired. Avoid waterlogged soil and feed container plants as directed for flowering annuals.
