About Picobella™ Blue Petunia

Picobella™ Blue is a compact blue-flowered Petunia milliflora with a mounding habit. Syngenta lists this selection at 8–10 inches tall and wide, with flowers from mid spring through summer. ## Site and season Use it in small beds, borders, or mixed containers, where its petite scale can fill gaps without overtaking nearby plants. The [Picobella Blue profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70007665) lists part shade through full sun and identifies the color and product code. Its flowering period spans mid spring, late spring, and summer. ## Growing Choose moist, well-drained soil; petunias perform poorly in very heavy soil. Water thoroughly when the root zone begins to dry, and let containers drain freely. Syngenta describes Picobella as easy to grow and suitable for mixed plantings. ## Maintenance A light pinch late in the season can help keep the mound tidy. The plant is listed as pollinator friendly. For general petunia siting and soil advice, see [Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia).
