About Picobella™ Carmine Petunia

Picobella™ Carmine is a compact, red-flowered Petunia milliflora in Syngenta’s mounding Picobella series. The exact Carmine selection is listed at 8–10 inches tall and wide and flowers from mid spring through summer. ## Site and season Plant it in a small bed, border, or mixed container, where its petite flowers provide a concentrated red accent. The [Carmine plant profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70007666) identifies product 70007666, lists exposure from part shade through full sun, and describes the flower color as red. ## Growing Use moist, well-drained soil. Petunias do not bloom well in very heavy soil, so choose a loose container mix or improve drainage before planting. Water thoroughly when the root zone begins to dry, then allow excess water to escape. ## Maintenance Pinch lightly late in the season if the mound needs shaping. Syngenta lists Picobella as pollinator friendly and flowering in mid spring, late spring, and summer. See [Illinois Extension’s petunia guidance](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia) for general soil and care advice.
