Picobella™ Red Petunia

Picobella™ Red is a compact annual Petunia milliflora with petite red flowers and a mounding habit. Syngenta identifies this color selection as product 70035048 and describes it as very early flowering, with blooms covering the rounded plant. ## Garden use The breeder lists an 8–10 inch height and width, and recommends the series for small borders, beds, and mixed containers. Picobella Red is listed for part shade through full sun and flowers from mid-spring into summer. Its petite size suits foreground planting and small-space displays without overwhelming nearby companions. See the [official Syngenta product page](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70035048) for the selection and product code. ## Growing notes Syngenta describes the milliflora as easy to grow and early flowering without a need for growth regulators. The [University of Minnesota Extension petunia guide](https://extension.umn.edu/garden-and-home/yard-and-garden/gardening-in-minnesota/growing-petunias) notes that milliflora types have miniature flowers and compact plants, and work well as edging or in mixed containers. ## Maintenance Check container moisture regularly, as potting mixes can dry quickly; water thoroughly when needed while allowing excess to drain. Remove faded flowers when practical to keep the display tidy and encourage continued flowering.
