About Damask™ Red Petunia

Damask™ Red is a compact, mounding multiflora petunia with red flowers. Syngenta lists it at 6–8 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide, with flowers from mid-spring through summer and a pollinator-friendly profile. ## In the Garden The tidy mound suits mixed containers, patio pots, and other small planting spaces. Its red blooms bring a clear accent to combinations with lighter flowers or foliage. ## Growing Conditions Plant in part shade to full sun. Petunias do best in moist, well-drained soil; allow drainage at the container base and check moisture regularly during warm weather. The Illinois Extension petunia guide and UC IPM both recommend regular watering. ## Maintenance Feed regularly according to fertilizer directions. Remove spent flowers after their bloom period to encourage fresh growth, as UC IPM advises. Syngenta describes Damask as naturally compact and season-long in garden performance.
