About Damask™ Rose Veined Petunia

Damask™ Rose Veined is a compact, mounding multiflora petunia selected for rose-toned flowers with veining. Syngenta lists the selection at 6–8 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide, flowering from mid-spring through summer, and marks it pollinator friendly. ## In the Garden Use the small mound in patio pots, mixed containers, or the front of a compact planting. The veined selection keeps a distinct look within the Damask range, while its pink-rose color pairs easily with white or purple flowers. ## Growing Conditions Site in part shade to full sun and provide moist, well-drained soil. Check container moisture regularly during warm weather and let excess water drain freely. Illinois Extension recommends moist, well-drained conditions for petunias; UC IPM advises regular watering. ## Maintenance Fertilize regularly according to package directions. Remove spent flowers after the bloom period to encourage fresh growth, as UC IPM recommends. Syngenta characterizes Damask plants as naturally compact with season-long garden performance.
