About Damask™ Violet Petunia

Damask™ Violet is a compact, mounding multiflora petunia with violet flowers. Syngenta lists it at 6–8 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide, flowering from mid-spring through summer, and marks the selection as pollinator friendly. ## In the Garden The tidy mound is a good fit for patio pots, mixed containers, and small planting spaces. Violet flowers give combinations a saturated cool color alongside white, pink, or red blooms. ## Growing Conditions Provide part shade to full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Check container moisture regularly during warm weather and ensure excess water can drain away. Illinois Extension recommends moist, well-drained soil for petunias, while UC IPM advises regular watering. ## Maintenance Feed regularly according to fertilizer directions. Remove spent flowers after the bloom period to encourage new growth, following UC IPM guidance. Syngenta describes Damask plants as naturally compact and suited to season-long garden performance.
