FotoFinish® Red Imp. is the red selection in the FotoFinish® spreading petunia series. Syngenta's matching Red product page identifies Petunia pendula as an annual with a spreading habit, 10–14 in. garden height, 24–36 in. width, mid-spring and summer flowering, and exposure from part shade to full sun.
## Placement
Use it in a container or at the edge of a sunny bed where its mounded, branching growth can fill outward. The breeder lists part shade, part sun and full sun; the site also notes that the series is pollinator-friendly and offers several container sizes.
Petunias perform best in moist, well-drained soil. Give the roots room and avoid heavy soil that stays wet; water container plantings as the mix begins to dry so flowering can continue through warm weather. See [Syngenta's FotoFinish® Red details](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70086916) and [Illinois Extension's petunia guide](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia) for selection and care information.
## Maintenance
Check pots regularly for moisture, especially during hot or windy spells. A light pinch late in the season can keep stems compact and encourage continued flowering. Treat this as an annual and refresh it when the growing season ends.
