Caliburst™ Yellow Petchoa

Caliburst Yellow is a seed-propagated petchoa combining Petunia and Calibrachoa characteristics. Its exact product profile identifies PAS1553948 and lists mounded, spreading, and trailing growth, partial sun to sun, and flowering from early spring through autumn. ## Placement This selection is listed at 6–10 inches tall and 20–28 inches wide, so allow room for a broad container edge or a mixed planting. The controlled habit is recommended for combinations, quarts, gallons, and baskets. Its cool-durable production and short-day flowering response support early-season scheduling, while the garden profile also includes late spring and summer. ## Maintenance Choose partial sun or full sun and keep the root zone in moist, well-drained soil. Illinois Extension’s petunia guidance also recommends avoiding heavy soils and pinching late in the season when compact growth is desired. Check basket and container moisture regularly, since containers dry faster than garden beds.
