Easy Wave® Rose Spreading Petunia

Easy Wave® Rose is a spreading petunia selected for a distinct rose color between Pink Passion and Neon Rose. Its mounded, spreading habit makes it useful for sunny containers, baskets, and garden edges. ## Flowers and placement The [PanAmerican Seed listing](https://www.panamseed.com/products/048602869004669/spreading-petunia-easy-wave-rose/) gives mature dimensions of 6–12 inches tall by 30–39 inches wide and flowering from spring through late summer. It also describes the selection as cold durable, while retaining the broad spread typical of Easy Wave. Place it where the stems can extend without covering nearby smaller plants. ## Growing Choose full sun and moist, well-drained soil. The [UF/IFAS petunia guide](https://gardeningsolutions.ifas.ufl.edu/plants/ornamentals/petunias/) recommends watering established plants deeply at intervals, avoiding frequent shallow watering that encourages shallow roots. A basket or mixed container showcases its trailing growth. ## Maintenance Water according to rainfall and container conditions, and avoid keeping the soil waterlogged. UF/IFAS suggests monthly balanced fertilizer or controlled-release fertilizer at planting. In frost-prone areas, protect plants when cold weather arrives.
