Easy Wave® Rosy Dawn Spreading Petunia

Easy Wave® Rosy Dawn is a mounded, spreading petunia selected for broad coverage and a low profile. PanAmerican Seed lists a mature height of 6–12 inches and a spread of 30–39 inches, with a sunny exposure and spring-to-late-summer flowering ([breeder product profile](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/048602869016111/spreading-petunia-easy-wave-rosy-dawn/)). ## Form and Placement The controlled, outward growth suits hanging baskets, larger containers, and sunny beds where stems can trail over the rim or edge. Its spread is wider than its height, so leave room around the plant instead of crowding it with upright neighbors. The breeder describes Easy Wave as more mounded and controlled in spread than Wave varieties and recommends it for planters, baskets, gardens, and landscapes. ## Seasonal Role Use Rosy Dawn as a seasonal flowering layer or spilling accent. The cultivar page places its bloom season from spring through late summer; combine it with plants that keep a complementary structure after petunia growth slows. ## Maintenance Provide a sunny site and enough open space for its spreading stems. Follow the current container or bed watering routine for the local climate, and remove tired growth as needed to keep the planting tidy.
