Create design onlineAbout Mirage Rose Morn Petunia
Mirage™ Rose Morn petunia is a compact, mounded and upright annual for sunny borders, mass plantings and containers. PanAmerican Seed lists this Mirage selection as Petunia x hybrida, flowering from spring through late summer. Its published planning dimensions are 10–15 inches high, 10–12 inches wide, and 10–14 inches between plants; actual growth varies with growing conditions. See the [PanAmerican Seed plant profile](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/048600940012876/petunia-mirage-rose-morn/).
Petunias flower best with at least five or six hours of sunlight and soil that drains well. In garden beds, a thorough weekly watering is often enough except during very hot or dry weather; containers and hanging baskets may need more frequent checks. Remove faded flowers to help prolong blooming, especially on plants grown in pots. See [University of Minnesota Extension petunia guidance](https://extension.umn.edu/garden-and-home/yard-and-garden/gardening-in-minnesota/growing-petunias).
## Maintenance
Plant after frost danger has passed. Choose full sun and well-drained soil, water deeply, and allow excess water to drain from pots. Check container soil more frequently than garden beds. Add fertilizer at planting and follow the product label for any later feeding. Remove spent blooms to keep container plants flowering and tidy.
