Mirage Spring is a single-flowered F1 petunia in the compact Mirage multiflora series. The [Mirage catalog listing](https://www.satimex.de/en/_files/ugd/9de78b_91670ce92b354a3a83b719d028726983.pdf) identifies Spring among the series colors and gives a series height of about 25–30 cm. Its tidy scale suits sunny beds, border edges, and containers.
## Growing conditions
Give the plant at least six hours of direct light and use moderately fertile soil that drains well. Keep the root zone evenly watered, especially in pots, where mix dries faster than a garden bed. Petunias flower through summer and can continue until frost in suitable conditions; [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/petunia-x-hybrida/) describes multiflora types as smaller-flowered and more abundant than grandiflora petunias.
## Maintenance
Remove faded flowers to encourage continued bud production, and pinch back stems if the plant becomes leggy. Avoid waterlogged soil, which can lead to root or crown rot. [Iowa State Extension](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/faq/what-would-be-good-planting-site-petunias) recommends full sun and moderately fertile, well-drained soil for petunias.
