About Mirage Sugar Petunia

Mirage™ Sugar is a named color selection in PanAmerican Seed’s Mirage multiflora petunia series. Its official product page describes a mounded, upright habit, spring-to-late-summer flowering and a compact 10–15 in. height. ## Flowers and placement Plants spread about 10–12 in.; the series is intended for garden displays and mass plantings that continue until frost. Use the Sugar selection where its individual flower color can be appreciated, keeping it distinct from other Mirage colors. ## Growing conditions Plant in sun and moist, well-drained soil. Water when the soil begins to dry, checking pots more often in warm or windy weather. The [PanAmerican Seed Mirage Sugar page](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/048600940005344/petunia-mirage-sugar/) gives the exact selection details; [Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/petunia) provides general petunia culture. ## Maintenance Remove faded blooms and trim lightly if plants become stretched. Keep the soil evenly moist without leaving roots in standing water.
