Pretty Flora Purple Petunia

Pretty Flora Purple is a compact, mounded hybrid petunia with purple flowers for sunny containers and seasonal beds. PanAmerican Seed identifies this selection by product code PAS982893 and lists a 7–10 inch height, 8–12 inch spread, and flowering from early spring through summer ([PanAmerican Seed](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/048606439004341/pretty-flora-purple-petunia/)). ## Placement and display The Pretty series branches naturally, has short internodes, and holds together in baskets longer than standard petunias, according to the breeder. Its compact scale suits hanging baskets, patio pots, and the front of a sunny bed; allow enough spacing for the listed 8–12 inch spread. ## Growing conditions Give plants full sun. Use a free-draining container mix and water regularly as the container dries; consistent attention is especially useful in warm weather and hanging baskets. The breeder recommends 6–8 inches between plants and reports a concentrated bloom window with continued landscape performance. ## Maintenance Remove spent flowers and trim lanky stems when needed to keep a container tidy. Check baskets frequently during hot, dry spells, and refresh plants when seasonal performance declines. Keep the trade name and PAS982893 code together when ordering so the purple Pretty Flora selection is clear.
