About Supercascade Burgundy Petunia

Supercascade Burgundy is a large-flowered hybrid petunia for sunny seasonal displays. PanAmerican lists a mounded, upright habit, spring through late-summer flowering, 10–15-inch height, 10–12-inch width and flowers about 4–5 inches across. The deep burgundy color gives a strong focal point in a bed or container. See the [PanAmerican Supercascade Burgundy product page](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/048601474000893/petunia-supercascade-burgundy/) for the variety and its growing profile. Petunias perform best in sun and well-drained soil. Water thoroughly when the surface begins to dry; pots and hanging baskets may need more frequent checks in warm weather because they lose moisture faster than beds. Remove faded flowers or trim leggy stems to keep plants neat and encourage fresh growth. The [University of Minnesota Extension petunia guide](https://extension.umn.edu/garden-and-home/yard-and-garden/gardening-in-minnesota/growing-petunias) provides practical advice on light, watering and seasonal care. ## Maintenance Check containers regularly for dry soil, especially during hot or windy weather. Water at the soil line and allow excess to drain. Remove spent blooms and trim stretched stems as needed.
