Baby Doll White - Tall Phlox

Baby Doll White is a compact, upright garden phlox with white flowers above dark green foliage. The exact selection is listed as PP33487 and belongs to the Baby Doll series; its profile gives a height of 12–16 inches and a spread of 14–16 inches. [Walters Gardens’ plant page](https://www.waltersgardens.com/variety.php?ID=PHLBW) recommends a sunny site for strong flowering and notes that cutting the plant back after bloom can encourage rebloom. ### Size and siting Use this short perennial near a path, in a container or toward the front of a sunny border. It flowers in summer and attracts pollinators. Full sun is preferred, with part shade also listed; give it fertile soil and average moisture, and avoid crowding the foliage. ## Maintenance Water during establishment and during prolonged dry weather, keeping the soil from becoming waterlogged. After the main flowering period, shear the plant back to encourage rebloom and fresh growth. Good air movement and a sunny position help reduce powdery mildew concerns. Remove damaged stems as needed, and leave healthy foliage in place until the plant finishes flowering.
