FLAME™ 'Light Pink' - Tall Phlox

FLAME™ 'Light Pink' is the cultivar Bareleven (US PP 11,805), a compact Phlox paniculata selected for container and garden use. The plant patent describes soft pink flowers with a reddish-purple throat, freely branching dense growth, and a continuous display from July through September; it records mature dimensions of about 40 cm tall by 35 cm wide and notes fragrance. The official Flame culture sheet lists Bareleven by name and patent number, describes the series as suited to full sun, and recommends watching for powdery mildew because tolerance does not mean immunity. Garden phlox grows in moist, well-drained soil and benefits from good air movement. [Bareleven plant patent](https://patents.google.com/patent/USPP11805P2/en) and [Flame culture guide](https://www.darwinperennials.com/controls/MarketingPDF.aspx?blobid=6) support these traits; the [RHS garden-phlox profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/12736/phlox-paniculata/details) provides additional cultivation context. ## Maintenance Plant in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Water during dry spells, give the clump room for air circulation, and remove spent flower stems after the display.
