Sweet Summer™ Fantasy™ Purple Bicolor is an upright garden phlox with fragrant blue-to-purple flowers edged in pink-purple and centered in white. Syngenta lists this exact color selection at 18–24 inches high and 12–18 inches wide, with flowering from mid-spring through summer.
## In the garden
Use it in a border or container in full sun; partial shade is also suitable for Phlox paniculata. Provide moist, well-drained soil and good air circulation. Syngenta identifies the selection as pollinator friendly and lists an upright habit. The RHS profile records the formal denomination ‘Ditopur’ and the same purple-bicolor trade selection. ## Maintenance
Water during hot, dry weather and space plants to help airflow through the foliage. Deadhead faded flower clusters to keep the display tidy; divide mature clumps in spring or late summer to early fall. Remove diseased leaves and debris in fall, since garden-phlox mildew resistance varies by cultivar and growing conditions.
