Photinia fraseri is a vigorous, upright evergreen shrub widely prized for its striking seasonal color. It typically reaches heights of 10 to 15 feet, forming a dense, rounded habit ideal for privacy screens and hedges. The leathery, dark green leaves are preceded by brilliant bronze-red new growth in early spring. While it produces small white flowers, they are often pruned to encourage more foliage.
