Angel® Little Angel Dwarf Ninebark

Angel® is the named Physocarpus opulifolius selection Hoogi018, grown as a compact ninebark with warm red foliage and summer clusters of white flowers. It branches densely and suits a shrub border, mixed planting, or container. ## Growing Conditions The [Concept Plants selection page](https://conceptplants.com/varieties/physocarpus-opulifolius-angel-hoogi018) identifies Hoogi018 and gives a low, bushy profile; the [Monrovia plant page](https://www.monrovia.com/angel-ninebark.html) describes the foliage, flowering, and garden care. Published size and hardiness reports differ, so the existing catalog dimensions and minimum zone are retained without extending them from a conflicting source. This deciduous shrub grows in sun or partial shade, with regular water while establishing. Use it where its colorful foliage can be seen close by, and allow enough space for branching. ## Maintenance Water deeply during the first growing season, then reduce frequency as roots establish. Prune after flowering only when shaping is needed, and avoid heavily wet sites.
