Norway Spruce Tree

Picea abies, commonly known as the Norway Spruce, is a large, fast-growing evergreen conifer with a distinctive pyramidal form. It features stiff, needle-like foliage that is dark green and four-sided. As the tree matures, its primary branches slightly upturn while secondary branchlets become gracefully pendulous. This hardy species is widely used for windbreaks, screens, and as a classic Christmas tree. It thrives in full sun and prefers moist, acidic, well-drained soils in cool climates.
