Eastern White Pine Tree

Pinus strobus is a majestic, fast-growing evergreen conifer native to eastern North America. It features a pyramidal form in youth that matures into a broad, irregular crown. Its soft, flexible, bluish-green needles grow in bundles of five, providing a fine-textured appearance. This long-lived tree thrives in full sun and acidic, well-drained soils, though it prefers cool, humid climates. It is widely used as a specimen tree, for reforestation, or even as a sheared hedge in large landscapes.
