Wate's Golden Virginia Pine

This is a must have to jazz up your winter landscape! Refreshing, light green needles turn to dazzling golden yellow during winter months, then turn back to a soft green as the weather warms. Will have an open, somewhat spreading, pyramidal habit with age. Does well in heavy clay soils and in poor soils. The species is native to the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
