Bridal Bouquet

Bridal Bouquet is Plumeria pudica, a small evergreen tree or shrub grown for its glossy green leaves and clusters of white flowers with yellow throats. The exact Bridal Bouquet selection flowers freely through the year in warm climates, and its fragrant blossoms stand out against the foliage. NParks describes the species as drought tolerant and low water once established, with full sun and a mature height around 4 m; Moon Valley Nurseries lists zones 9–11 and full to partial sun for this selection. The existing 10–13 ft height range is compatible with those references. The species is a tropical member of the Apocynaceae family, and its milky sap can irritate or poison if ingested. See [NParks](https://www.nparks.gov.sg/florafaunaweb/flora/3/0/3073) and [Moon Valley Nurseries](https://www.moonvalleynurseries.com/products/trees/bridal-bouquet). ## Maintenance Give it a warm, sunny position and avoid overwatering. NParks notes possible mealybugs, frangipani caterpillars, and rust; handle cut stems carefully because of the milky sap.
