MEGA PAZZAZ™ Mango Twist is Danziger’s named *Portulaca oleracea* selection in the MEGA PAZZAZ™ series. Its large flowers and controlled semi-trailing habit are suited to warm, sunny plantings; Danziger lists 14–16 inches tall and 16–18 inches wide, while [Rush Creek Growers](https://www.rushcreekgrowers.com/plant-name/Portulaca-oleracea-mega-pazzaz-mango-twist) describes the blooms as having a dark-orange center with mango and yellow tones radiating outward. Danziger identifies early flowering and pollinator-friendly use. [North Carolina Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/portulaca-oleracea/) describes the species as an annual succulent for full sun and well-drained soil.
## Landscape Use
Place it where its warm bicolor flowers can be seen, such as a patio pot, hanging basket, sunny border edge, or low ground-cover accent. Semi-trailing stems can spill over a planter rim, and the large flowers add a bold note among finer-textured annuals. Danziger also recommends the series for heat- and drought-tolerant programs and pollinator displays.
## Growing Conditions
Choose a sunny site with free-draining soil. The succulent leaves help established plants withstand dry periods, although newly planted material needs watering while roots develop. Avoid waterlogged soil, particularly in containers. Use the published height and spread ranges for spacing while allowing for differences among sites and growing conditions.
## Maintenance
Water plants as they establish and during prolonged dry weather, allowing excess water to drain. Trim stems if they outgrow the space; otherwise, let the semi-trailing form extend over the edge.
