Prairie Winds® Niagara Falls™ Switch Grass

Prairie Winds® 'Niagara Falls' is a broad, arching switch grass with powder-blue foliage and cream seed sprays in fall. Proven Winners describes it as notably wide for a Panicum, with foliage interest and seedheads that extend the display into winter. It grows in full sun and tolerates drought and salt, and its listed mature size is about 4 feet tall and wide. ## Garden use Use this perennial where its arching leaves can fill landscape space, soften a border, or create a generous mass planting. The open form and pale seedheads add movement and texture. ## Maintenance Grow in sun across a range of soils. Cut back in spring before new growth appears.
